LAUSD Magnet Late Application Window (2026–2027)
The late application window opens February 2, 2026. Late applicants are automatically placed on a waitlist and considered after all on-time applicants have been seated. A late application does not guarantee placement.

Note about ON-TIME Applicants (Applied between October 1-November 14):
On-time LAUSD magnet applicants will be notified in March whether they have been offered a seat or placed on a waitlist. Check the email and mailing address you provided in your application.

If not selected, applicants are placed on the waitlist for their first-choice magnet program only and will be contacted by the school if a seat becomes available.
