APPLYING TO BRAVO
The ON-TIME application window for the 2025-2026 school year closed on November 15, 2024. The LATE application opens on February 3rd, 2025 at 8 a.m.
If you wish to apply to Bravo for the 2024-2025 school year, please complete an online application at Magnet Programs in eChoices.
Who can apply? To be considered for the LAUSD Magnet Program, applicants must reside within the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) at the time of application. If accepted, residence verification will be required. Openings are primarily available for incoming 9th graders, while spots for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are limited. You can use this website (Click HERE) to check if you've been assigned a resident school. If you have resident school(s) assigned, your address is within LAUSD boundaries.
When should I apply? Parents must apply through the LAUSD e-Choices application, which opens in the Fall, one year in advance. The application window typically runs from October to mid-November. Check the website for specific dates. A confirmation email/letter will be sent after applying, followed by a second letter in Spring informing you if your child has been accepted or placed on a waitlist. The late application window typically opens in February.

Which students qualify for school bus transportation? Students living more than two miles from the school may be eligible for bus transportation. Check if a nearby bus stop is reasonably close before applying by contacting the transportation office at (800) LA-BUSES or visiting the Choices website.
When can I tour the school? Bravo Magnet School Tours are offered during the application period in October-November. Please sign up for a school tour by clicking here: Bravo School Tours

Parents, check the status of your magnet application at https://echoices.lausd.net/: click on Apply Now, log in using the email and password you used to apply, and complete any pending Actions.

STEP 2: After you ACCEPT your offer at Bravo, please visit us in the Magnet Office to pick up your enrollment packet on one of the days and times listed on this calendar--
STEP 3: Check the email you used to apply regularly. We will send you an email with your appointment date and time to return your completed registration packet. Registration nights will be in May 2024 on a Wednesday or Thursday between 4-6 p.m. Call us at (323) 227-4413 if you have questions.
