UPDATE:

Diagnostic Testing for Incoming 9th Grade Students

We previously offered three dates for students to complete diagnostic testing in English, Math, Science, and Spanish.  Great news!  If you were unable to attend one of our earlier testing dates, we are offering two additional opportunities:

  • Saturday, May 16, Time: 9:00–11:00 a.m.
  • Saturday, May 23, Time: 9:00–11:00 a.m. CANCELLED
  • Saturday, May 30, Time: 9:00-11:00 a.m.

There is no need to pre-register for the diagnostic tests. Students may simply arrive at the front entrance of the school, where a staff member will greet them and direct them to their testing location.

Testing will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. We strongly encourage all students to take these diagnostic tests to ensure proper course placement.

Why are these diagnostics important?

These assessments help ensure students are placed in the right courses for their academic success. They may also qualify students for Honors-level Math and Spanish classes. Taking the diagnostics gives students the best opportunity to begin high school in courses that match their abilities and goals.

Note: previous testing dates were on May 13, 14, and 16.
